Holiday Email Campaign (Nov. – Dec. 2017)

Project: For the 2017 holiday season, I led TrackR's email marketing effort end to end. The campaign was structured week by week, rotating focus between different deals and products (TrackR pixel vs. TrackR bravo) as the season progressed. I also built a promotional story arc around the emotional tone of each holiday moment, with deal-driven urgency for Black Friday and Cyber Monday and warmer gifting language for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Results: The campaign finished 22% above goal and drove 21% of TrackR's total revenue for the period. I followed up with a post-campaign report analyzing top and bottom performers across key metrics, along with recommendations for strengthening email as an ongoing revenue channel.

Challenges: Email marketing had been paused for several months before the holiday push, so I needed to re-engage the audience before any promotional messaging could land. I started with a short series of non-promotional emails highlighting the recently released TrackR pixel, building product awareness and warming up the list. As the promotional window approached, I ramped up send frequency, layered in personalization, and leaned on segmentation based on past-purchase behavior and geographic location to make the messaging more relevant to each segment.

‘TrackR pixel’ Launch (Jun. – Jul. 2017)

Project: TrackR was preparing to launch the 'TrackR pixel,' the newest iteration of its item-tracking technology. The device featured multiple LEDs and a louder piezo speaker, making it easier to locate misplaced valuables.

Results: Using the retouched product photos, I designed the full suite of launch materials: the promotional launch email, multiple series of display ads, retail packaging, and in-store displays including placement at Best Buy.

Challenges: The campaign needed to cover both digital and retail touchpoints, showing the TrackR pixel across a range of use cases and color options. Most colors hadn't entered production yet, leaving the team with limited physical product to shoot. We used black, white, and gray units for the photoshoots, and I retouched the gray devices in post to match the Pantone swatches slated for full-scale production, covering the full color range without waiting on manufacturing.

‘TrackR bravo’ Track Your Tech (Feb. – Mar. 2017)

Project: To drive sales of the flagship 'TrackR bravo,' the marketing team ran a targeted email campaign aimed at tech users. We photographed the TrackR bravo across five use cases — flash drive, headphones, drone, e-reader, and camera — products that tend to be either high in cost or critical for data retention. I maintained consistent design motifs across the six emails and wrote headlines built around a clear value proposition for each use case.
