Telehealth Innovation Forum (Jan. – Aug. 2020)

Project: InTouch Health (now part of Teladoc Health) holds an annual Forum showcasing new developments in virtual care, featuring speakers from across the country. For 2020, the team had to rapidly convert the event from in-person to fully virtual while preserving the experience attendees had come to expect.

Results: Email drove 33% of total Forum registrations. The original goal was 1,000 registrations total; the email channel alone brought in roughly 1,300.

Challenges: The virtual format put more pressure on communications to generate interest, set expectations, and keep attendees engaged across the two-day event. The marketing and events teams leaned heavily on email to carry that load. On the promotional side, I built segmented lists based on past prospect interactions to deliver more relevant messaging to each audience. During the event itself, I sent timely notifications throughout both days to surface upcoming presentations and interactive sessions.

Skills Utilized: Email Marketing and Strategy, Email Design, HTML and CSS, Data Analysis

Software Used: Adobe Photoshop, Brackets (Code Editor), Litmus (Testing), Pardot, Salesforce
